Incoming exchange students
The Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies is one of Stockholm University's profile areas, which means that the department is nationally-leading in research concerning archaeology. At the Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies we offer one course at bachelor level and PhD degrees in four different subjects.

Learning Swedish
Why not take the opportunity to learn Swedish while in Sweden? There are several options to consider.
The Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism give courses for International Students.
Swedish for International Students
A more informal way of learning Swedish is to take part in the Language cafe. While having a cup of coffee or tea you speak to native speakers and other learners. The cafes are run by student native speakers on a voluntary basis.
The Swedish Institute give free Swedish courses online. At the same time as learning the language you also get insights into Swedish culture and society.

Språkstudion Language Learning Resource Centre is the place to practise, teach and research languages at Stockholm University.
